Hi, I'm Marcial Sommer, a Swiss Filmmaker and Photographer

 

Since 2016, I have been drawn to the craft of storytelling, through the means of photography and filmmaking. I fell in love with the process, with the privilege to be able to freeze time, to capture unique and inspiring stories for others to enjoy. I've had the privilege of embarking on various projects that have taken me across the globe, allowing me to refine my craft along the way.

Away from the camera, I find joy and inspiration in the realm of outdoor sports, particularly climbing and highlining. There's an undeniable beauty that comes with scaling vertical cliffs or walking a thin line suspended hundreds of meters above ground. These experiences not only invigorate my spirit but also serve as a profound source of inspiration for my artistic vision.
